In the Seven Realms, the influence of the Feywild is strong. The powers of the realm of Faerie seep across into the realm in the deep forests, snow capped mountains, and misty fens. In these lands the elves still maintain that deep bond with their fey ancestors, and the Seasonal Courts influence them still. In the Seven Realms, the seperate sub races of elves are classified by different seasons, and with the exception of the Drow, are largely unchanged from their primary sources, as outlined below.
Spring Elf (High Elf)
Traits as per High Elf, Players Handbook page 23.
Summer Elf (Eladrin)
Traits as per Eladrin, Dungeon Master’s Guide page 286, repeated below for ease of reference.
All Elf primary traits listed in the PHB page 23, plus the following:
Ability Score Increase. Your inteligence score increases by 1.
Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
Fey Step. You can cast the misty step spell once using this trait. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest. If you are a spellcaster, you know this spell and can cast it using the appropriate slots and features of your class.
Autumn Elf (Wood Elf)
Traits as per Wood Elf, Players Handbook page 24.
Winter Elf (Drow)
Queen Mab rules her frigid realm from atop tall mountains, icy glaciers, and in deep dark caves. Instead of the Underdark, Winter Elves are associated with the cold wintery climes they call home.
Traits are adjusted from the standard Dark Elf traits listed in the Player’s Handbook pg 24.
All Elf primary traits as listed in the PHB page 23, plus the following:
Ability Score Increase Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Darkvision Winter Elves have the standard 60’ darkvision trait of all elves, not Superior Darkvision.
Child of Winter You have advantage on all saves against damaging cold effects and have resistance to cold damage.
Winter Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with rapiers, shortswords, hand crossbows and light crossbows.
The Sunlight Sensitivity trait is removed.
The Drow Magic trait is renamed Dark Elf Magic, and is an optional feat instead. See Feats
